About the Artist
Debbie Fairbrass is a botanical artist living by the sea in Kent, England.
Growing up in the North of Ireland surrounded by orchards, glens and mountains and hearing tales of Irish folklore, inspired her fascination of the magic and mystery within nature. Debbie's background in jewellery design and couture embroidery along with her love of highly detailed craftmanship, influenced her to work with copper and brass as a new and exciting medium. She wanted to bring an intricate and ornate touch to a simple material such as metal.
Specialising in ornamental arts, wreaths and sculptures, each piece Debbie creates is crafted entirely by hand with the intention of becoming a treasured family heirloom for generations to come.
